GB Grid Monitor
GB Grid Monitor is a Python server feeding energy data from various sources to an html dashboard for monitoring the GB electricity and gas supplies in real time. It also shows rain, river levels and flood warnings for England (from the Environment Agency), and — if you’re an Octopus Energy customer — your own household electricity and gas usage and costs.
Free API keys from openweathermap.org and Octopus Energy are optional, but an Open Call 4.0 API from Open Weather Maps would greatly enhance your weather monitoring experience. The national electricity and gas pages will run fine without them.
**Python must be running on your machine in order to run the server, which retrieves all the data**
All details of how to install and run the app are included in the readme.md.
The repo is hosted on GITHUB and can be downloaded via the following link: https://github.com/televisualarts-cloud/
