The XRay Flux Colourgram is driven by the data in the NOAA file “xray-flares-7-day.json” available here: https://services.swpc.noaa.gov/json/goes/primary/
The webpage analyses the data within the client computer and takes the maximum flux value for each hour, posting the value in the appropriate grid cell according to the UT day and time. The colour is chosen according to the colour scale below the grid.
Data is updated from the NOAA file every minute.
Assuming that the client computer has an active text-to-speech pack installed, the page can announce a rising solar flux above M1.0 every minute. The flare peak should be announced following the flux falling for 5 minutes, and again once the value passes below M1.0.
The html files on this page are in Beta and subject to possible errors. New versions will be added as development progresses. If you find the online page not working feel free to download one of these BETTER offline versions to your computer and open in a browser of your choice, then wait for a flare.

[2025-11-10] CG19c is full featured but is still under test. It also includes flare peak prediction based upon the upgoing curve at 5 minute intervals. Come back regularly to check for newer versions.
